So Eric’s story made me think…

It’s canon in my AU that the egos can’t die unless they fade from existence as the fans forget them. Which means even if they die they have to come back to life right?

Clearly, Eric wouldn’t know this when he first shows up. So how does he learn? 

Wilford ‘nose goes’s’ the Jims and shoots WJ who wasn’t paying attention. 

Eric will, of course, freak out as the body hits the floor only for it to fade from existence as the older egos continue as normal. 

Eric nearly has a heart attack when WJ shows back up and smacks Wilford for not giving him some warning. 

Eric is shaken by this of course but… he’s not afraid to get close to the egos now. He can’t really cause their deaths, not like he did with everyone else he cares about. They aren’t even concerned when they die because they knew they’ll come back, so he can, for once in his life have friends.
