Shoutout to 2018 for being the year I realized I was gay and asexual at the same time in the library and had an existential crisis while people read books and watched anime around me. That was back in April or May. I have been getting gayer since then so thanks for that at least 2018.
– Eric grew up in Markiplier Manor! Impossible sounding, right?
– Well, given the technology and 80’s look of the Eric and Derek footage, it’s clear that they are alive long after the events of WKM.
– So picture this, The famous actor Markiplier has been murdered, Damien, Celine, William and DA are legally declared dead 7 years after the incident.
– Markiplier Manor is practically abandoned, 5 people supposedly died in it and the old staff say that the building is haunted. Retailers are desperate to sell it, so the building is practically dirt cheap.
– Derek, looking for a home to fit his 15 children and his wife stumbles across the Manor in some sort of advert. He buys it almost instantly, declaring it a miracle!
– And that’s when things start going horribly wrong, incident after incident occurs, caused by the house manipulating and meddling with reality.
– So, cut forward to the bus accident. A lot of people theorize that Eric was on the bus with his brothers, So day that he is.
– He’s badly injured in the crash, losing both his legs in the protest. How does one survive a situation like this, where they’re trapped at the bottom of a cliff where help likely couldn’t arrive for hours? The same way someone like Abe survives being shot in the heart.
The people have spoken, and the people wanted more Voyd. (I do, too!)
I wrote this comic largely out of spite after some mean anon sent a message saying they were pissy about me shipping Voyd with “the ugliest character.” So I took it upon myself to make this as a big FUCK YOU because Brick is a treasure.
It makes sense to me that Brick’s speech pattern could be the result of a traumatic brain injury (specifically, aphasia). Being a tank-type, she’s probably thrown into very violent situations more than the average Super. I also loved the idea of her slow speech being a perfect foil for Voyd’s excitable rapid-fire chatter, and how using ASL would turn the tables and have Voyd be more slow and careful while Brick can speak more eloquently.
