I’ve been thinking about this for the last four hours as I tried to finish the story I want to put up today, which most likely will go up tomorrow since I keep redoing scenes.
What if Egos aren’t the only souls that get transported across the multiverse?
What if every soul that is killed before their time has the chance of being reborn in another universe?
What if they discover this by visiting Detriot?
What if the Egos figure out how to go between the dimensions and Bing, Oliver and Green convince Red and Blue to show the others the world they all came from?
What if time moves differently between different dimensions so when they arrive it’s 2050, 12 years after the game took place?
What if everyone is shocked to see Bing grow skinnier, and shorter, features softening into what he looked like originally, finally driving home the act that he’s not purposely irresponsible and immature?
What if the Bots are amazed at how far the Humans and Androids came with living in harmony?
What if Blue and Red grow a little softer to humans, seeing how the group, who every assume are androids since they share the same face, is being treated?
What if Bing, Green, and Oliver want to see if they can track down their old families?
What if Bing has a tearful reunion with his adopted parents, and the group comforts Green at the cemetery where his parents are buried, but the real surprise comes when they track down Olivers family?
What if Oliver is tackled by the family he once took care of, finding the kids older and all grown up and thriving, having lives of their own, but all home for their father’s birthday?
What if the Talia, the oldest daughter of the family who Oliver last saw at the age of 16 but is now nearing 30, untangles herself from the hug pile only to freeze as she sees the surrounding group of egos?
What if the others notice and all grow slightly confused as Oliver goes to explain, only for him, and the rest of the egos to freeze as she utters a single word?
What if the world wasn’t even English, but it had nearly as much weight to the egos that couldn’t understand it as those that could?
What if she had looked directly at Bim and muttered ‘Timeus?’
What if Ruzha had been reborned into the Detriot World after she had been killed, only to be told her memories were just an overactive imagination growing up, for everyone to think that her Abyssal was just a made up language?
What if she believed it for years until she felt the presence of her husband again?
Oliver gives the one and only Bim Trimmer a shovel talk.
If the Jims hadn’t been there then Wilford would have confronted Bim about it in a more public setting and just kept pushing and pushing before Bim screamed about how he lost his wife, who it was his fault they had been up too in the first place, how he’s the reason she was dead and he’d just keep going and going his magic too pungent for anyone to get close and help him calm down from his emotional breakdown
Which in turn would trigger a meltdown from Wilford because it sounded oh so much like what happened to Celine.
Owie.
Dark would also be a mess and the Office would be forced to throw them back into their rooms to calm down but everyone is left feeling pretty emotionally worn out just watching three of the powerhouses of the Office lose it.
It makes them remember all the shitty things that lead to them being there as well.
No one leaves their rooms for a few days
Owch.
I’m glad the Jims were there. The Jims are incredibly important, even if they don’t always get the recognition.

Bim’s Birthday means a lot to him, but can the Jims help the other egos understand this.
“You’re going to make us late, darling.”
Timeus smiled, turning away from the mirror, eyes roaming over the woman who practically draped herself over the door frame, the ruby red dress she wore like a second skin gleaming against the dark skin of her human disguise. Her hair was braided like a crown around her head, held in place by golden pins looking like a crown of gleaming jewels. He moved across the room, wrapping an arm around her waist as he shrunk and widened until he was left looking human as well, his now brown eyes boring into her kohl-lined honey ones.
