Like, which post specifically are you referring to?
I don’t typically go through ever single source blog with a fine tooth comb, but if I overlooked something, I kind of need you to be a bit more specific.
Imagine the King of the squirrels being the most self-aware Mark ego, just imagine it.
The reason I thought of this was because of how like Mark, King is. Honestly I didn’t even know he was a ego until I saw posts, I thought King was just Mark being Mark while with the other egos that were never originally meant to be still felt more like egos. So what if because King is the most like Mark, he’s the most self-aware?
He’s aware that he looks like the other egos, and he’s slightly aware he’s a creation, maybe he’s pointed this out but no one believed him. Maybe the only one that had a chance was Wilford, seeing as he might be a bit self-aware also or maybe Wilford sees the King as silly, and brushes it off.
This is just the tip of the ice berg on this cake, but could you imagine applying that to his all famous line. Maybe why he feels the need to shout “I’m the King of the squirrels!” is just because it’s a joke, or maybe he shouts it to remind himself that’s who he is.
He’s trying cope and prove that he is just imagining things, that he’s his own self, that he is not a creation. Maybe after a while that’s all he can say, because he lost to his own madness and self-awareness, or maybe because he can’t bring himself to say anything else in fear.
