Subscribe for the YouTube YOU Want

Subscribe to Pewdiepie might all look like one big meme at first but it’s a war between the future of YouTube for individual creators and the massive corporations who are taking over the website.

It’s not about Felix’s content anymore, or whether or not you like his work, it’s much bigger situation now.

If T Series wins, YouTube will make changes to their system that will override smaller individual creators and lean towards big companies and brands.

Don’t you already feel the effects of it? It’s gonna get worse if T Series wins.

Whether or not you like him or not, pewds represents the individuals like Markiplier and Jacksepticeye who started in their bedrooms with a video camera recording themselves for fun vs corporations with money and power and thousands of workers backing them up.

If YouTube changes their policies to suit corporations who can make videos faster, daily, and in high quality, then you can say goodbye to your favorite YouTuber stars because they’re gonna end up leaving the site because they can’t compete with corporate giants.

Do you want a YouTube ruled by corporations?

So subscribe to Pewdiepie, not because you like him or his work, but for the fact that doing so will prevent the other bad people from taking over.

Vote for the lesser evil.

Subscribe to Pewdiepie to save the other YouTubers you love.

If you are getting upset over the Pewdiepie thing…

First off I get if you don’t like the guy. I didn’t for the longest time. He’s grown on me but I can understand reservations. You don’t actually have to like or sub to him.

Don’t put down Seán and Mark about it. They can’t win, apparently. One half of people screaming at them to say something, and when they do (in an obviously joke like manner, I mean did you watch the live stream Mark did?) the other half screaming at them for being ‘apologists’. They have never hid their friendship with Felix so why start yelling now?

Lastly, it’s more of a joke than anything. Felix doesn’t care about being number one. The only serious thing about this is big Corp vs the individual creator which is a shame. But at the end of the day it’s a meme. A joke. Some do take it a little too far but it’ll die down soon.

Calm down. It’s not that deep.

people be like “don’t start with anime style, learn the rules before you break them” like that’s how everyone who ever got good at drawing did it.  I mean, don’t get me wrong, you can start off studying anatomy and technique and stuff, but you can also get to that stuff later after a few years of copying sailor moon or whatever.

as kids we all start off messing around and not giving a shit about rules, and we do the work later when we realize it’s the next step to improving.  adults get to do that too.  allow people to evolve naturally??  they’re having fun??  jeez.

I’m so goddamn mad that oil companies have known climate change is real for decades and did everything to stop people from acting on it. I want to burn their offices down. I want to throw their CEOs into a fucking pit. The world is being destroyed because some filthy rich fucks saw the end coming and figured making money off it was better than saving it. That’s pure evil, plain and simple.

Exxon knew about climate change almost 40 years ago and took steps to suppress the evidence

Likewise Shell.

This isn’t a conspiracy theory, this is a documented historical fact, and people’s heads should literally be rolling for it.
