👼 Dark?

Dominque was not a babysitter.

That isn’t to say they thought they were too good to watch someone else’s child. Quite the opposite. They were terrified of harming other people’s children.

Beneath Dominique’s uncaring facade, they were terrified. This was different than raising Bim. Pyrrhos is… well, different. Dominique knew how to take care of their son. Bim was their flesh and blood. His needs were similar to Dominique’s own, save the flesh-eating part. His powers and needs were consistent. His temperament and vulnerabilities were known.

Pyrrhos was completely different. He was made of magic and blood and his powers were unknown and inconsistent. How is anyone able to account for that? How did Dame Shield account for her son’s biology??

Dominique watched the infant wiggle on his little mat. He was almost a year old but was currently the size of a newborn. Why did Dame Shield ask them to watch her son? What if something happens. The baby made a gurgling noise and continued to wiggle.

Dominique took a deep breath. It’s fine. He’s a baby. All they had to do is make sure he didn’t suddenly explode or something.

Pyrrhos exploded into flames.

Dominique sighed.

I misunderstood the game but this is more fun. Babysitter Dark, ft. my fire son, Pyrrhos Calcifer Shield.

Dominique is fine at babysitting, but they get incredibly anxious when in charge of someone else’s child, thanks to Damien’s anxiety.
