Dark is like. A tiny, moody little brat who will Scream if anyone tries to pick him and of course he’s one of those kids with powerhouse lungs (not to mention the infernal ringing that follows him everywhere). Wilfore is a cute kid until he finds his way into the knife drawer. Then it’s just panic. Panic everywhere.
The Host suffers from Creepy Child Syndrome. He cant help it if he’s more or less psychic and that he’s blind or that he speaks very very softly. (Actually that last one’s on purpose just because he loves freaking people out). Google is an angry angry little boy. He’s too smart for his own good and no adult will take him seriously because he’s a cherub faced little baby with a brain bigger than his fuse. Bim is paradoxically a very shy child who loves the limelight. Talking to people one on one? No. Not happening. Letting him be the center of attention in a crowd when he’s performing? Now he’s happy being the star.
I reblog this every time I see it, because the part that makes this so horrific to me, is that the room is a direct callback to Goodnight Moon. It takes this memory of safety and security and turns it directly upside down and I love it.
